The government will provide Rs 1600/ per connection in the next 3 years. As a result of clean and hygenic fuel, they will not need to compromise their health with smokey kitchens and collection of un-hygiene fire-woods. Through, this initiative the primary objective is to safeguard the health of women and children of our country.
The scheme was launched by the Government of India on 1st May 2016. The purpose of the scheme is to empower women, especially in rural areas.
